To suffer trauma means different things to different people. While some are quick to forget about the painful thoughts, others cannot. Even if they want to, the unexpected flashbacks, the sleeplessness, the constant reminders of the painful experience may make it difficult to forget about the traumatic event because the symptoms of PTSD experienced are recurrent, involuntary, intrusive, and distressing. Distressing because the symptoms have been happening for more than a month not resulted from drugs, alcohol, or head injury. For example, someone involved in an auto accident may be anxious about anything that reminds him/her of the accident.

Accepted Insurance Plans

Fortunately we welcome patients with and without insurance plans. The good news is psychiatric care is covered by insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The ACA requires insurance plans to cover mental health. If in doubt, please contact your insurance company.

If you don’t have insurance, we accept cash payment and offer discounted services. We may also be able to help you into benefits you may qualify for.
